At Rue’s Strings Attached, every item is handmade with love and care. Because of the nature of our products, we have a few simple rules about returns and refunds to keep things fair and transparent.

1. Handmade Products

All our crochet items are handcrafted, which means no two pieces are exactly alike. Small variations in color, size, or stitching are part of their charm — not defects.

2. Returns

• We accept returns only if the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
• To request a return, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
• The item must be unused, in its original condition, and with all packaging intact.
• You will be responsible for return shipping costs unless the error was ours.

3. Refunds

• Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you via email.
• If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
• Refunds are only issued for damaged or incorrect items — not for change of mind or custom orders.

4. Custom Orders

Custom and personalized items are non-refundable and non-returnable once production has started, as they are made specifically for you.

However, if your custom piece arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us — we’ll gladly repair or replace it where possible.

5. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to change an item, you can return the eligible product and place a new order.

6. Damaged or Missing Items

If your item arrives damaged or something is missing, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of:

• The damaged product
• The packaging (including labels)

We’ll work quickly to find a solution — either a replacement, store credit, or refund depending on the situation.
